The historic center of Lima is one of the most important tourist destinations of Peru, is mainly made for the fencing areas of Lima and the Rimac district. The city of Lima, capital of Peru, was founded by Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro on January 18, 1535 under the name of Ciudad de los Reyes, however, persisted over time its original name seems to come from the language Aymara (lime-limaq or yellow flower) or Rimaq Quechua, meaning "talkative", so loud at its river, the Rimac.
